In recognition of Women’s History Month, Dr. Velma P. Scantlebury, the nation’s first African-American female transplant surgeon, will visit the STAR Campus for a book reading and signing from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The event in the STAR Health Sciences Complex north atrium is being co-sponsored by UD Health, Christiana Care Health System and the Vice Provost for Diversity.
