This is a pivotal time in the history of the College of Health Sciences. Our loyal community of alumni, friends, parents, students, faculty, and staff are vital to the success and continued growth of the College. By investing in our students, expanding our reach and inventing tomorrow, we establish the College as an institution nationally recognized for exceptional education experiences and integrating instruction, research and public engagement. We invite you to join us. Through philanthropy, through volunteerism, through engagement with the College of Health Sciences, you have the opportunity to help us shape the future of healthcare education, research and innovation!

ANNUAL GIVING

The College of Health Sciences’ focus on health care through experiential and multi-disciplinary education is renowned. Annual gifts speak to the essential and core role of higher education– tuition assistance, faculty support, and innovative program initiatives.

We depend strongly on alumni and friends to augment state funding and support from research contracts and grants. Alumni can also provide support by mentoring current students, giving seminars, and coordinating internships.

ANATOMICAL GIFT PROGRAM

Anatomical gift donations are used exclusively for anatomical education and research by students.  We never sell, transfer, or otherwise send anatomical gift donations to be used by other facilities or agencies.  All donations to our program remain at the University of Delaware until the students’ anatomical study is complete, at which time, the remains are returned to the funeral home indicated on the Anatomical Gift Donor Form.

GRATEFUL PATIENT GIFT

Have you had an extraordinary experience here? Show your support by giving to the Nurse Managed Primary Care Center, the Speech-Language- Hearing Clinic, or the Physical Therapy Clinic. You can even make a donation in honor of the great service you received from one of our caregivers. Your support helps us offer state-of- the-art healthcare while also training our students.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

The Tower at STAR and the Health Sciences Complex were conceived with an eye towards both cultivating the next generation of healthcare professionals and leaving a positive impact on our community. Philanthropic support of the next phase of growth will ensure that the innovative vision and growth of programs will become a reality. We are fortunate to partner with a wonderful developer to build the structure, but there is a large need for philanthropic support for the educational space, equipment and technologically advanced tools that will provide the necessary learning environment for cutting-edge research, education and innovation. Create a naming opportunity as we build a legacy of Delaware together.
