Mental Health: Hope through Innovation
Please mark your calendars for the Spring 2018 Evelyn Hayes Innovations in Healthcare Symposium. Join us on Apr. 4 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the atrium of the STAR Health Sciences Complex (540 South College Avenue, Newark, DE 19713) for an innovation workshop focused on mental health. This symposium will specifically showcase treatment innovations and strategies bringing hope to patients, families and caregivers facing major challenges including depression, anxiety and others that do not fit easily in related diagnostic categories.
About the speaker
Dr. Timothy Fowles is a faculty member in the University of Delaware Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Dr. Fowles directs the Psychological Services Training Center (PSTC). He supervises clinical psychology doctoral students as they provide services to the community. The PSTC treats a wide variety of clients from toddlers to older adults. Diagnoses also vary widely, including depression, anxiety, OCD and ADHD). Dr. Fowles has worked in the field for almost 20 years in a variety of academic, medical, and community settings. He is passionate about helping individuals and families using the best available science. We are also very excited to have University of Delaware Healthcare Theatre assist Dr. Fowles on April 4.
