Concentrations of Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Motor Control, or Sports Medicine – Areas of study include sensorimotor and neurocognitive aspects of musculoskeletal related injury, human motion and underlying forces, and the function and response of the human body during various conditions. PhD in Applied Physiology
The mission of the Applied Physiology Ph.D. program is to provide advanced training to students in the field of applied physiology with the goal of preparing students for research-based careers. PhD in Medical Sciences
PhD in Medical Sciences is a graduate interdisciplinary program with faculty from the College of Health Sciences (Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Behavioral Health and Nutrition, Kinesiology and Applied Physiology) – Programs of study focus on topics in the areas of pathogenesis of disease, biomarkers that can aid in diagnosis and treatment, evidence-based practice, and the underlying mechanisms of chronic illness.
