Corey Beattie nearly lost her life in a car crash. She walked away, but the crash left her with a traumatic brain injury.
Filmmaker Jonathan Ristaino followed the Beatties over the course of five years to create the documentary “Brain Crumbs.” Join us for a private screening on April 22nd at Penn Cinema Riverfront in Wilmington. Curtain opens at 6:30 p.m.
Corey, an aspiring chef, works in our GoBabyGo! Café, which gives adults with limited mobility the opportunity to rehabilitate body and mind in a real-life work setting. UD’s Cole Galloway and Devina Kumar play an integral role in Corey’s journey, which is captured in the film. Both will take part in a post-film question-and-answer session.
