Our graduates attend medical school, enroll in physician’s assistant programs, and matriculate in graduate programs in a broad range of fields. They also follow careers as athletic trainers, medical technologists, nurses, and dietitians, and many work for wellness programs, fitness centers, and other community health organizations.

The field of health sciences encompasses a broad and dynamic collection of specialties, joined by the common theme of making a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of people by adding years to their life and life to their years. Our college attracts students who are eager to assume this exciting challenge when they graduate.
Medical technologists meticulously facilitate the diagnostic process. Nurses care for every aspect of the human condition. Physical therapists rehabilitate and restore quality of life. Athletic trainers ensure the safety of athletes. Our exercise physiology graduates continue on to earn the most competitive and meaningful graduate professional degrees in the nation, and our health behavior graduates are energized by the challenges and responsibilities that accompany promoting active, healthy, and nutritious lifestyles. Our goal in the College of Health Sciences is to prepare each student for a career as a lifelong learner and champion of best practice principles.
